Aspen Court has recently been invested in. We’ve targeted this investment on our facilities and being more Eco-Friendly, we’ve also taken on more new management who are even more responsible and caring. We’re fully invested on providing your loved one with the best quality of life and this is just a small step in improving our residents quality of life.

Being ideally located in Gateshead and good transport links as well as motorway access was important for us, we want to make visiting as easy as possible for everyone.

Care Provided Aspen Court provides General Nursing Care and Residential Care as well as Dementia residential and nurse care.

Lovely home, staff are very polite and helpful. The activities lady is very good and took me to shops and was very helpful with having laundry service. I asked for a TV in my room, and they got it straight away. The rooms are lovely. And there are six TV lounging rooms, and my favourite is the cinema lounge, it’s in a vintage retro theme. The meals are very substantial and tasty. The deputy manager is very pleasant and helpful. It is a very large building and took me a while to get my bearings but getting to know my way now. Would come back again any day best environment ever, and I thank everyone for an enjoyable stay.

My aunt and uncle had to be taken into care at the end of last year as they were unable to look after themselves and had poor health. They settled in well with all the care and attention. Unfortunately, my uncle passed away in January. The manager organised the funeral of which I am most grateful. We need more places and people like yours. Thank you so much for your hard work. I cannot thank you enough the care you give in looking after my aunt. Your kindness and dedication go a long way in keeping her and all residents happy. I hope you know that you are appreciated each day.

My mother was a resident until her death last year. She was looked after by wonderful staff who were lovely to family as well as Mam. Since her death my friend has gone into care, so now I go and visit her. The food is always amazing, the cleaners do an excellent job and the staff, well, I can't explain how wonderful they are.

At our family-run care homes in the North-East, we provide the level of care we’d want for our own family. Every detail is designed for comfort and convenience, with fresh meals from on-site chefs, housekeeping, laundry, and even hair salons. Residents can enjoy activities like Tai Chi and bingo, relax in private ensuite rooms, or spend time in inviting lounges and gardens.

Health and well-being are our priority. We offer weekly GP visits, a specialist nurse four days a week, and daily health monitoring.

Hospital appointments include transport and a familiar escort, while podiatry, dental, and optician services come directly to our homes. With everything taken care of, your loved one can enjoy life without the worries of living alone.
